DMA: thanks for your feedback, Martin. We are aware of many gumstix 
in education projects underway around the world, particularly in the 
US, Canada and the UK. Most of these projects are in their infancy 
often due to recent awareness of the gumstix product line or the 
timing in the academic year.

We believe that, over time, postings about education projects will 
improve in their scope and range, providing a valuable information 
sharing opportunity.

DMA: the Third Parties are able to add and update their listings in 
any way. They can provide information such as what you suggest or 
link to it on their website, as they see fit.

I can't remember when exactly I did what, but I think that you're
supposed to provide the linux.inf file when asked for the locate
driver.

I have XP Pro.

I'll have to try on another computer (my work computer hasn't had
usbnet installed) and see what happens (that will have to wait until I
get to work tomorrow).

I just added an 'up' line to /etc/network/interfaces to get the job
done.  See interfaces(5).
