Today I prepared some files to Postscript for printing. I noticed
that my printer clipped off some pixels on the left and bottom since
it is not able to print all the way to the edge ("full bleed").
Minor tweaking of '-page' parameters would likely have surmounted
this, but it would have required some trial and error.
As I recall TeX provides a way to tune its output so that the output
best fits the actual imaging area of the printer. A special test
sheet is printed which can be read in order to determine the best
adjustment parameters. Usually this is sufficient to find the best
parameters on the first try. The parameters are saved so that they
take effect for future print jobs to that printer.
Does anyone have some ideas as to how GraphicsMagick could best
support tuning for specific Postscript output devices?
