Hi,
I installed gnubiff-2.1.o yesterday without any hazards. I ran
./confige --disable-gnome --with password
make
# checkinstall
# yast -i /usr/src/packages/RPMS/i386/gnubiff-2.1.0-1.i386.rpm
# SuSEconfig
# ldconfig
and had no problems whatsoever. I saw today that there was a new release
out, gnubiff-2.1.1, so I redid the process to install the updated version
(after unistalling the old one first).
It seems to work out fine, but when I try to execute the program
gnubiff
I get a "Segmentation fault" and nothing happens. Any ideas why? I didn't
see any particular warnings or errors in the terminal output either! :(
My system is running SuSE 9.2 Pro on a Intel Pentium IV-processor.
Guess I just have to reinstall the old version -- I thought it looked
quite nice too. Thanks for all good work!
Regards,
David
