IPR004433 should no longer be mapped to GO:0008683.  The E. coli MenD protein was recently shown to catalyze a different reaction, EC 2.2.1.9 (PMID 17760421).  A suggested new mapping is GO:0070204.

Summary: wnt genes and 'signal transducer activity'

Initial Comment:
I may be missing something, but the way I understand the biology, wnt proteins are secreted and bind to receptors to initiate their signal transduction process.  Currently, at least three InterPro domains (IPR005816, IPR005817, IPR013301) which are associated with wnt proteins, are being translated to the GO term 'signal transducer activity'.  The way I understand it, wnt proteins do not have any 'signal transducer activity'.  Instead..the receptors they activate carry this activity.  Perhaps the translations from these IPR domains to 'signal transducer activity' should be changed?

The GO editors have recently renamed GO:0006730 to 'one-carbon metabolic process' and clarified the definition. In light of these changes, several mappings to InterPro carbonic anhydrase entries should be removed, because they are inconsistent with the revised definition. Affected entries:
