Newbie here, just now trying out freecad and have never used a cad proggy
other than eagle and pcb2gcode before.
I am also a USian, 77 YO, a retired tv chief engineer used to making what I
can't buy, which is what I am trying to do with freecad.
One of the first things I need is to be able to specify a parts dimensions
in inches, rather difficult to do when my machinist micrometers and
calipers are all manufactured in inches, and for some reason totally
unknown to me, the calc programs available for linux seem to have had all
their inch to metric functions functions they had several years ago,
eviscerated. Or emasculated depending on ones point of view. :)
So far the only place I have found an inch/mm switch in freecad is I
believe in the export prefs menu.
So, my first question is how do I put freecad itself into the inch mode for
"There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty:
soap, ballot, jury, and ammo. Please use in that order."
