actually, i just built libXrender-0.8.4, to try to get past this, but
that didn't help.
did you say you just checked something into cvs for ecore? 'cuz i didn't
see anything get updated just now, and i'm still getting that error

i was able to build 2.1.10, so that, at least, isn't an issue.

i whined about this when it first started happening, a couple weeks ago...

where would you suggest setting a breakpoint? i will be running it
inside of a VNC session (when i get free moments).
