It's not really an Enlightenment issue. If you're running an APM/ACPI
aware operating system (such as Linux) you can suspend the current
active session to disk.
VMWare allows a virtual machine to be suspended in any state because,
well, it's a virtual machine. VMWare controls it. It's less easy on a
real system; sometimes certain applications have to be closed before a
Linux system can suspend, for example.
