[E-devel] 17 focus issue

I finally found a way to reproduce the strange focus issues I have with
e17. Here it goes (I use Eterm as an example, but my problem often
occurs with xmessage):
- start with some empty desktop, launch an Eterm
- from there, lauch Eterm &
- not moving the mouse, type Eterm and return
- ctrl-c (killing Eterm n. 3)
=> Eterm n. 2 now has the focus, even though the mouse is still on Eterm
n. 1.

Stacking does not seem to change anything.

At least a "last updated on" would be nice on the page, as long as it is 
accurate. It doesn't help to see the state of the enion if it was last 
updated in 1999 (which I know it wasn't, but how does someone new to E 
know?).

Just an eager user waiting patiently (well, ok I am kicking and 
screaming about metacity sucking) ;-) .....

As is often the case, there are plenty of ideas... Just not enough
people to implement them.  If someone were to review CVS and put up a
status page, I doubt that would be frowned upon. :)  Said person could
then monitor CVS and keep the status updated...

Read Fred Brooks.. "The Mythical Man Month".  He has a lot to say about why
it's *really* hard to estimate how close to ready software is.
