You'll need efm-cvs-001018.tar.bz2 and imlib2-cvs-001018.tar.bz2 from
that directory in order to build efm.  Remember that efm isn't supported.

2 doesnt do anything more than 1 for me and my needs and moving to 2
means a lot of code change in imlib2 and evas. also 2 isnt released yet
- its still in a test beta stage.

Yes, that is sweet. 

I will give some more reasons: looks better and support more font
formats.

However, I can wait for e18. :-)

there's billions of turetype fonts... i dont run into other formats
much at all... so thats not much use :) it's not worth the overhaul
needed right now.. and it's not released yet (not officially) at any
rate.. and there's no rush.

Use the hand of the Creator and deem it a stable release. Linux-Mandrake 
is still working with 0.8.10  because the 0.9x is termed a development

Ouch, that one hurt ;). Actually, the only reason I'm using outlook
(express) is 'cuz my laptop's been feeling under the weather lately.
Problems with the monitor getting distorted and fuzzy... I just gave up on
linux because it was so ugly since E used so many colors :\. W*ndows seems
halfway bearable... but anyway, laptop's going back to Dell tomorrow to get
fixed, should be back here in a week or so (no more next-buisness-day/free
parts replacement service, my warranty's actually almost extinguished), and
then linux goes back on it full time. Until then.... well, nobody was even
supposed to look at my headers anyway ;P

The sooner the better, FreeBSD is still using 0.8.10 too for the same reason.
