If you have to ask this, do not attempt to install them yet.

OK. But don't worry, the machine I am running is just
a test machine (is an old HP laptop). I can just test
and see if it they installed properly.

That's not actually in doubt.  I've got bigger concerns that I might
be leaving pieces *out* here and there.  Within the next 24 hours I
*hope* to complete a list of what's been compiled, which versions were
compiled, and which packages didn't need to be recompiled from 2.18
(of which there are several) so just installing what's in that 2.20
directory isn't likely to behave correctly without the things that are
still left over from 2.18.

At the moment, I'm somewhat mired in the python stuff 'round the
middle, and I've got to rebuild gtk+2 to include a patch that was
mentioned in the release notes as being needed to avoid some waste of
CPU cycles.  So much for crossing the fingers and hoping they'd just
release a new micro rev by now.

Checking the wiki will reveal a LOT of modifying going on.
