There is a problem that occurs when you kill an app after it has sent a
partial CCE command -- the CCE can be left in an unknown state, which
can crash the machine. I do not have a workaround for this problem yet.
However, if you exit all of the apps normally, you should never see this
problem. I have tried to reproduce it here, and have not been able to

I haven't noticed any instability, but the driver has only had limited
testing. It might also be that I've already fixed the problem. Please
try again with the new code that I've recently checked in.
I can't offer much help on how to proceed, just if you can consistently
reproduce the problem, then run both the X server and the 3D app in the
debugger, and try tracing through the 3D app to the point that it fails.
