The changes in this release are as follows:
This release addresses a few problems in the 2.28 version. Compilation
problems under OpenBSD are fixed. Netlink permission problems with
certain Linux kernel configurations have been worked around. See the
FAQ for the changes needed to fix the problem. Spurious "interface
not found" errors at startup were fixed. The SuSE RPM builds again.
Upgrading from 2.28 is only needed if one or more of these problems
are encountered.

Project description:
Dnsmasq is a lightweight, easy to configure DNS forwarder and DHCP
server. It is designed to provide DNS and (optionally) DHCP to a
small network. It can serve the names of local machines which are not
in the global DNS. The DHCP server integrates with the DNS server and
allows machines with DHCP-allocated addresses to appear in the DNS
with names configured either in each host or in a central
configuration file. Dnsmasq supports static and dynamic DHCP leases
and BOOTP for network booting of diskless machines.
