Hi, I'm new to Wine (and Darwine), but I'd like to try building Wine
0.9.59 on my Mac.
(intel macbook pro, os 10.5 leopard)
(1) There are quite a few apparently dead links, all pointing to
which appears to be down. I think this host name should be replaced on
or forwarded to a valid web site.
For example on the page http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX/FAQs,
a link to http://darwine.opendarwin.org/faq.php doesn't work
The nav bar links (the left side) of http://darwine.sourceforge.net/docs/dev-doc.xml
all point to darwine.opendarwin.org, so they don't work. Using
(2) I tried to follow the instructions on http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX/Building
Apparently the cvs checkout doesn't create a "configure" file
anywhere. Am I missing
something important? I got this error:
$ ./create_darwine_distrib.sh $VERSION ~/Desktop/wine-$VERSION

(3) Why should a user have to declare the value of $VERSION? Why can't
present in a file (presumably named VERSION), available when checking
out the code?
