I installed PYGTK and everything that I thought was a dependency.
When I try to import gtk from python, I get this:

Now I am not sure why it is looking for things in that directory, it
doesn't exist. PyGTK appears installed correctly in the right place in
/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gtk-2.0, and this directory is in
