I've just installed cygwin (1.5.19) + GNOME (2.x) on
my WinXP laptop.
However, when I try to run startgnome, I keep on
getting this error "The procedure entry point
XauDisposeAuth could not be located in the dynamic
link library cygX11-6.dll", from gnome-session.exe.
The X server seems to work correctly, because when I
run startx I would get a root window plus the xterm.
My guess is that gnome-session has typo-error
referring to cygX11-6.dll. Because I couldn't find
XauDisposeAuth routine in cygX11-6.dll, but I found it
in cygXau-6.dll. Can someone confirm this?
I tried to retrieve the source code and compile it
myself, but was blocked by FTP server authentication.
Would be great if a fix could be released.
