I've been using the revision of the old script. The new one (which
comes with blender 2.34) seems much improved however, but after spending
much time struggling with it I never did get it to actually work.
Hopefully someone will fix the brokenness of it. Actually I heard a
rumor that it is fixed in the blender cvs (as it is not actually a bug
in the script, but in blender), but I wasn't able to successfully
compile a cvs checkout of blender.
So basically, the one I posted with my tutorial (the link below) works
with blender 2.33 and not 2.34, but you have to be careful that your ipo
curve names match your bone and animation names.
The new version is much better, in that it's much faster, and you don't
have to worry about ipo curve names, but unfortunately does not actually
produce cal3d files that work, reguardless of the version of blender you
