I ran into that error several times and I read somewhere that you must put cedet
configuration near the top of your .emacs.
If I remember correctly, the cedet version packaged with emacs 24 is conflicting
with bzr version so you have to load the bzr one as soon as possible to prevent
the wrong version being used.

That is it!  Thanks.

Starting with -Q, then loading bzr version cedet works.  The headache seems that
quite a few builtin elisps are (require 'eieio).  I think it would be good to
mention this in INSTALL.

BTW, what is ginstall-info?  I don't have it on Mac...  What is the matter with
install-info?
