I'm a total nooby to cedet packages for emacs. Although I'm using Ubuntu
7.04 (amd64), I found it frustrating to get up and running with cedet. My
solution was to download directly, build into ~/elisp/cedet-XXX and then
symlink to that from ~/elisp/cedet and configure .emacs for that symlink. I
noticed many warnings during the build, but I'm not proficient in lisp and I
don't have time to fix much. Anyhow, despite that difficulty, many things
seem to be working. For me, the most informative information I could find
was the INSTALL and PRERELEASE_CHECKLIST file in the cedet-1.0preXXX.tgz
few of those and put them into ~/elisp and configured for that.
Anyhow, my purpose is to get code completion options for c/c++ and python
development. So, I want to configure semantic (or something) to find and
parse all the libraries available. I can't find any information on how to
configure this (on Ubuntu).
