<html><body>
<p>Hy, I've been using CEDET the last weeks, and after upgrading to b=
eta4 from the debs its troubles about cpu eating went away, but i've=20=
got several other outstanding issues:</p><p> * From time to time em=
acs opens about a dozend system headers like /usr/include/gnu/stubs.h whi=
ch is anoying as the number of buffers grows rapidly...</p><p>  =
; * Once it lost bearing to the file it does never again try to reparse i=
t, the half / whole file is underlined red, though GCC compiles it clean.=
</p><p> * it isn't able to open the typeahead window / ke=
ep it open, it just flickers short and disapears. I'm using emacs 22=20=
on debian etch and the ion Windowmanager</p><p> * it steals s=
lopy focus. typing in an xterm, cedet found out, oh, he's idle, lets=20=
try to do the popup, focus is switched over to emacs. It does this repeat=
ive till i move away the text-cursor.</p><p> * it leaves its=20=
files all over the source. I think it should keep its parse files somewhe=
re under ~/.emacs/cedetcache or so with names indicating their belonging.=
Its very aroying if you do a grep over a directory to find the use of so=
me specific function, and it blasts away your xterm with the real big hit=
in the cedet cache...</p><p> </p><p>e xcept for that I like it very=
much! Please tell me if I can provide you with more Information.</p><p>&=
nbsp;</p><p>Wilfried Goesgens </p>
