I appreciate the help I've received previously
I have a new problem. My goal is still to get jdee
running in emacs on my G4 running os 10.3.5.
I've installed cedet-1.0beta3b, elib-1.0, jde-2.3.5
and have GNU Emacs 21.2.1.
When I open a .java file in emacs, I see a normal
emacs window but with the text nicely colored (based
on keywords, etc.), and at the top there's a menu:
File Edit Options Buffers Tools Classes JDE Java
Senator Jdb Help. However, the menu is not clickable.
One suggestion I heard before (for a different
problem) was to try installing a more recent version
of emacs. I've downloaded 21.4.1, I get the error:
configure: error: Emacs hasn't been ported to
I think there's a way around this using the .in files
and autoconf, but I'm stuck.
any suggestions/comments welcome,
