Summary: The BZ game on SGI IRIX workstations
Initial Comment:
About 15 years ago we had about 10 SGI Indigo Workstations running IRIX. To our utter fun we found the game BZ (not BZ Flag). This game was great. A countless online lunch battles ensued. It was similar to BZ Flag but in my opinion a lot better than BZ flag (sorry - I do like BZ flag). As a matter of fact a new version of IRIX came out and the dept. was chomping at the bit, because the new version of BZ called BZ flag was include. Unfortunately we were disappointed and went back to the original BZ.
I would be glad to outline how this game worked if need be. But my question is - is this some how still available? How hard is it to mod BZ flag, because really it is not that much different. Off hand the only thing that I think is missing is tank classes, mines, guided missles and recoil.
