an example score for blueX7 would be:
i1 0 2 8.00 100
p4 - pch
p5 - midi velocity
the csound tab allows you to edit what the output code will be, so it
defaults to outputing to outs, but you could change that to out or zakw,
as well as add filters, etc.
blueLive unfortunately does not work on windows as there are issues with
pipes with windows programs. The only way around that I can think of is
for me to compile csound as a java-accessible library (Michael Gogins
has done this before so perhaps not too bad) and use that instead of
command-line csound. It's a bit more overhead in work than I'm
currently willing to take on, though, so no near-term solution is planned.
The CeciliaModule should work regardless of how many instruments are in
the orchestra as when it compiles it actually reassigns the instrument
numbers to avaialable ones. You should also be able to use as many
different instances of the same CeciliaModule as you'd like without
worry of instruments number or ftable numbers overlapping. If you find
this is not the case, please send me an example .blue file to test
against and I will look into why it's not working.
The synth designer has been stable for the past week or so; right now
there is only "knob", "slider", and "label" widgets. I think I will
change slider to "HSlider" and make a "VSlider" to make horizonal and
vertical versions of sliders, as well as a visual grid when in edit
mode. I will perhaps release a new beta after that, then will add some
more useful functions like cut, copying, and pasting, and perhaps some
The Cybil interpreter is taking some time, but more than anything what's
been slowing blue dev a bit has been working on music. ^_^
Thanks for the feedback and questions!
