Hi Oliv3 ;) I tought about the posibility to get groups for the sequences and the posibility to change "on the fly" to a desired one. Ex: Getting 10 folders in the ~.lebiniou/sequences and assign a keymap 1 to 0 to change between the sequences: ~.lebiniou/sequences/1/ [1] ~.lebiniou/sequences/2/ [2] ..... ~.lebiniou/sequences/10/ [0] It would be much easier to organize all IPulse,Tunnel;Kaleidoscope,Psykedelik etc.. created sequences in separated groups for the user to avoid getting "bad luck" playing live. Don't know if it would be a lot of work/changes héhé Thx & have a good day :) MK |

Is the manual ok for beginners ? Well, the "man lebiniou" is a really good one, the only problem I've encountered was... images.png not accepted/recognized, here the output: [+] Loading pictures [+] Loading theme 'mk': [!] png_get_data: Unknown file error. (/home/misterx/.lebiniou/images//mk/GrainLunaire.png) [!] if this is an indexed PNG, convert it to non-indexed [!] also, remove any comments from the PNG done. I've solved my problem opening an image of the default theme with the gimp, then copy/paste my image to a new mask then save as.. et voila ;) (maybe a command line will do all the stuff: resize, convert to png and don't know what I'm missing ... convert to non-indexed... I've to investigate...) > I'm planning for a future release to add a support for "Tilda-themes", > eg if you set a theme like "~mytheme", Le Biniou will fetch the images > from your .lebiniou/images/mytheme/ directory instead of > /usr/share/lebiniou/images/mytheme/ ; what do you think ? Seems a really good idea, for sure it will be much more easy for new users. > Any comments or critics are also welcomed, by the way :) - mmm I was quite intrigued having a look at wiiniou.avi, and thought maybe support for video files entries and/or live capture device ex v4l (as internal plugin like Ipulse) would be posible and imo a great feature. - Also getting a duration of the sequence/scheme in auto random mode adaptive to the bpm (automatic detection or by tapping for exemple) could be nice for people like me (while mixing music, don't have much time to manualy change the sequences, so the program is running in auto random, and I don't interact a lot with it) - Other great feature may be integration of effectv, freiOr, freeframe plugins (and that's all for now, thx for your time) > > PS2: les devs ne seraient-ils pas français a tout hasard? > > Sisi, tout à fait ;) C'est vrai que la question était un peu idiote aussi héhé) > > Keep up the great work, and ,,, don't stop the (free)party > > "...You can't stop the future", they say :) > > Feel free to spread the word and let more people join the boat ! > Now is the time for Le Biniou to run into parties around the world :) > > Enjoy, Yes ;) will do all I can to promote lebiniou, full support (it gave me motivation to start working again on the io GNU/Linux project, I will try getting a new build in the next months that would include lebiniou) PS: au plaisir de se croiser un de ces jours derrière les caissons Oliv Wish you a great and happy weekend, peace bro MK |

Is the manual ok for beginners ? I'm planning for a future release to add a support for "Tilda-themes", eg if you set a theme like "~mytheme", Le Biniou will fetch the images from your .lebiniou/images/mytheme/ directory instead of /usr/share/lebiniou/images/mytheme/ ; what do you think ? Any comments or critics are also welcomed, by the way :) > PS2: les devs ne seraient-ils pas français a tout hasard?
