Audacity

Hi,

I have Audacity 1.2.3 (I think) installed on Fedora Core 3 Linux (from
CCRMA).  When I pick "Help > About Audacity"  I get the "about" window
but all the text is just little boxes like I'm missing a font.  This
makes it hard to tell which version I've got!   8^)

Any trick to getting the text to display?

Also, is there some easy way to inquire in Linux the rev of the
application?
