Great program, and best of all, it's free.
I'm having a problem with "Play other tracks while recording new one". The
problem is, it doesn't seem to work. I can record fine when this feature
is off, but whenever I enable it, I get the "Error enabling audio device"
dialog. This is an important feature for making music.
I've tried this in both 1.0 and 1.1. I'm using MacOS 10.1.5 on a Powerbook
G3, 333 MHz, 192 MB RAM. My recording device is the iMic USB audio system,
and I've tried using both that and the built-in audio controller for
While I'm at it, here's some other features I'd like:
1. An option to play a metronome click out while recording in.
2. A vertical bar that indicated playback position
4. Graphical editing of the spectrogram, such as selecting a rectangular
section of the spectrogram and then filtering or cutting and pasting it.
There is a nice program that does this called Canary
<http://birds.cornell.edu/BRP/CanaryInfo.html>, but it costs $250 !!!
