I see you are using Audacity 1.3.4? Help > About will tell you the version.
There were crashes involved with the Noise Removal Profile in the previous 1.3.3
if you were running CleanSpeech mode (or had at some time), due to the
"noisegate.nrp" noise profile file which CleanSpeech saves. This should have
been fixed for 1.3.4. Have you ever used CleanSpeech? If so, look for that .nrp
file on your system (WIN + F), delete it and see if that helps.
Otherwise please download 1.3.5:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/
and see if that helps. If it does not, you may have a problem with a corrupted
Audacity project file. Exporting your work to WAV and importing that WAV into a
new project might help.
