which is in the critical path for the firm's settlement and clearing. =

Experience in coding middle-tier application services, application =
programming interfaces and messaging services.
Some knowledge of the financial services sector is also a plus. Strong =
background in the entire Java platform, both the language and related =
API's (for example Swing, JDBC, RMI and JMS).
Microsoft products including Project, Access, and Visio a must. =
Significant experience developing GUI's with Swing.
Candidate will also contribute to deliverables and project planning for =
internal initiatives; and assist in the development of the =
follow-the-sun support for applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong =
object-oriented design, communication and presentation skills. The EMS =
is based on a vendor trading system development platform and is coded =
entirely in Java.
Infrastructure experience with Linux, Solaris, DB2, Sybase, firewalls, =
and load balancers.
Knowledge of Linux, Windows, SQL, Sybase and Oracle.
NET data-access, remoting, serialization, MSMQ queuing and transaction =
management.
5 years of development experience focusing on object-oriented analysis =
and design. Front-Office Trading IT experience including previous =
experience in front-office IT development with a good understanding of =
the Equities business environment. 5 years of development experience =
focusing on object-oriented analysis and design.
Consultation with departments such as Data Administration, Corporate =
Finance and Corporate Legal are required.
