If you check the git version, we have most of those effects implemented and I think someone is working on titles. I also don't think there community would want to join ours because they say that they are the best.
But we can use code of UI from OpenShot. It exactly the same
technologies.
And for video effect, the library using in OpenShot (frei0r) have
GStreamer plugin:

And we can merge communities.
