I am having a trouble accessing a Java
class through Jython.
I am trying to use a program called Stanford Parser
(To unzip this file, you have to unzip it twice).
I put the unzipped
parser folder ("stanford-parser-2008\javadoc") in the jython 2.2.1 folder and added the path as follows:
>> import sys
accessed the packages, and this worked:
But when I try to access
a class within it I get an error:
ImportError: no module named LexicalizedParser
>> from edu.stanford.nlp.parser.lexparser import
ImportError: cannot import name
This problem was encountered by someone
else two years ago (http://www.nabble.com/Importing-non-builtin-java-modules-to8957425.html#a8999193)
but does not seem to have received a satisfactory answer.
please help me get out of this puzzle? I don't know why I can't import this
class while I can import the packages.
Thanks a lot.
I sent an identical message with the latter address
and sending this again because I got a notice that it is being held as a
non-member mail. Sorry for cross posting. Once my address is changed I will just
use one address.
