In a beanshell macro how do I access the XPath Tool plugin to run XPath expressions on an
xml file viewed in buffer (the xml file refers to a local *.dtd file)
I can use the docked plugin o.k. and the XPath expressions generate the XML fragments.
I just need to do this in a macro.
I then need to copy XPath extracted XML fragments into strings ($1, $2, $3 .. ) for search and
replace operations on the buffer.
My macro can do the SearchAndReplace part on the XML file. But it is accessing the XPath
Tool plugin where I need help to extract the xml elements and values.
XPath Tool doc is found in XSLT Plugin.
You can invoke the "Evalute XPath" action via a keyboard shortcut or toolbar icon;
this can be configured from "Utilities->Global Options->jEdit->Shortcuts" or "Utilities-
>Global Options->jEdit->Tool Bar" respectively. The XPath Tool will have to be
docked in order for this binding to work.
But there is no "Evaluate XPath" action that I can see in the list.
Any pointers to an XPath API?
