I wanted to ask if it would be possible to avoid rm -rf since it is not in the standard rm command.
I know in the gnu tools rm knows verbose but unix doesn't know this so the BSD doesn't know this. and since it isn't needed I change them to rm -f anyway. so why not aviod them completly?
