I am using the daemon mode but I exported the env before I stared the daemon and I tried to restart several times but still no luck.
I am ready to give you a user account to try it out if you have time for that..

Ah.. I'm so sorry for lately reply. I have just found that BitTornado does manually connect to tracker through httplib. That's why http_proxy doesn't work at all.
I will find some way to help you. Probably migration to BitTorrent 4.2.1 should be better.

Guys,
Is there a way to use http proxy to communicate with the tracker? It will be really useful for me..
Thanks,
R.
sure! Just set environment "http_proxy" to your proxy. For example,
export http_proxy=http://yourproxy.com:8080
thanks, but didn't work :(
I exported "http_proxy" and checked if it works with lynx for example, and it did, but it didn'w work with btqueue :(
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
R.
Which is the mode you being used? scheduler or daemon? The environment must be exported prior the start of scheduler or daemon.
