Atol is a classical dual panel file manager aiming to be portable to both Linux and Windows OS (using C++ and GTK+ toolkit)

Uniqueoid program is designed for searching and deleting copies of files. Uniqueoid analyses target files and folders and offer to save one of the duplicates and eliminate the else. Search results can be saved and loaded. You may clean disk bit by bit. Uniqueoid takes care of files that become unique even after the end of the search. Unique files can’t be deleted accidently. Also Uniqueoid can automatically choose or ignore files by directory or path prefix. All this features in combine allows to reduce such routine and boring task as a getting rid of repetitive fotos, documents, music tracks and so on to some easy actions, no matter how much copies are involved. Uniqueoid is as simple as possible. It doesn’t require special knowledge in the computer architecture. At the same time program has extended settings for optimization for custom system and preferences. Uniqueoid is written in Java. It can be run on any OS where actual JRE is installed. This is a python based UI application that can rename a part of a set of files inside a directory based on the provided regular expression. This gives a lot more flexibility compared to other renaming files since it used grouping principle. This had two level of applying the rename, first stage shows who it will be when you rename it, if you are fine with the change you can make it permanent by clicking commit. This avoid the risk of file getting corrupted. To rename all .py file to .pyc is as follows: Search for Regex: (.py)$ Rename using this regex: .pyw

Whenever I add a new program I open up Windows Explorer and immediately change the folder icon to the one the executable uses. With WinZip it shows a clamp, etc. I want a program that will do the entire program files directory with only a few clicks.
