opticsbenchui OpticsBenchUI software is an open source demonstration of an integrated solution that performs easily configurable data acquisition scans generally used in optical bench experiments. Devices are interfaced using other open source projects among which dc1394, aravis, comedi. The software allows interoperation of digital cameras (Firewire, GigE Vision, CameraLink), actuators through RS232, USB, Ethernet communication, spatial light modulators (SLM), digital I/O and analog I/O boards (counters, DAC, ADC). Data are saved in a hierachical way, adapted to scan profiles using open source HDF5 file format. The graphical user interface is based on open source Qt.
