CiteSpace also supports basic visual analytic functions for datasets without citation-related information, for example, PubMed, CNKI, ProQuest Dissertations and Theses. CiteSpace reveals how a field of research has evolved, what intellectual turning points are evident along a critical path, and what topics have attracted attention. CiteSpace can be applied repeatedly so as to track the development of a field closely and extensively. The e-book How to Use CiteSpace explains the design principles and functions along with illustrative examples in more detail: https://leanpub.com/howtousecitespace

    Pro Git

    Pro Git

    Pro Git 2nd Edition

Welcome to the second edition of the Pro Git book. The entire Pro Git book, written by Scott Chacon and Ben Straub and published by Apress, is available here. All content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 3.0 license. Print versions of the book are available on Amazon.com. What is “version control”, and why should you care? Version control is a system that records changes to a file or set of files over time so that you can recall specific versions later. For the examples in this book, you will use software source code as the files being version controlled, though in reality you can do this with nearly any type of file on a computer. If you are a graphic or web designer and want to keep every version of an image or layout (which you would most certainly want to), a Version Control System (VCS) is a very wise thing to use.

Ray Tracing in One Weekend Book Series

Ray Tracing in One Weekend Book Series

The Ray Tracing in One Weekend series of books

The Ray Tracing in One Weekend series of books are now available to the public for free online. They are now released under the CC0 license. This means that they are as close to public domain as we can get. (While that also frees you from the requirement of providing attribution, it would help the overall project if you could point back to this web site as a service to other users.) These books are formatted for printing directly from your browser, where you can also (on most browsers) save them as PDF. In Ray Tracing in One Weekend, you will build a simple brute-force path tracer. Continuing with Ray Tracing: The Next Week, you will add textures, volumes (like fog), rectangles, instances, lights, and support for lots of objects using a bounding volume hierarchy (BVH). Finally, with Ray Tracing: The Rest Of Your Life, we'll dive into the math of creating a very serious ray tracer.

    rustlings

    rustlings

Small exercises to get you used to reading and writing Rust code

This project contains small exercises to get you used to reading and writing Rust code. This includes reading and responding to compiler messages! Alternatively, for a first-time Rust learner, there are several other resources, like The Book, which is the most comprehensive resource for learning Rust, but a bit theoretical sometimes. You will be using this along with Rustlings! And also, Rust By Example, to learn Rust by solving little exercises! It's almost like rustlings, but online. You will need to have Rust installed. The exercises are sorted by topic and can be found in the subdirectory rustlings/exercises/<topic>. For every topic there is an additional README file with some resources to get you started on the topic. We really recommend that you have a look at them before you start. The task is simple. Most exercises contain an error that keeps them from compiling, and it's up to you to fix it! Some exercises are also run as tests, but rustlings handles them all the same.

    Epub.js

    Epub.js

    Enhanced eBooks in the browser

Epub.js is an open-source Javascript library that allows any web page to render Epub documents on any device with a modern browser. Epub.js contains a flexible rendering engine and provides a simple interface for common ebook functions such as styling, persistence and pagination. We release and maintain Epub.js on GitHub, with a growing developer community. Just include a single javascript file, and pointing it at a hosted epub. Epub.js provides an interface for common ebook functions (such as rendering, persistence and pagination) without the need to develop a dedicated application or plugin. Importantly, it has an incredibly permissive Free BSD license. The EPUB standard is a widely used and easily convertible format. Many books are currently in this format, and it is convertible to many other formats (such as PDF, Mobi and iBooks).

    ThingPulse ESP8266 Weather Station

    ThingPulse ESP8266 Weather Station

ESP8266 Weather Station library supporting OpenWeatherMap

This code works best with the NodeMCU V2 ESP8266 module and an 0.96" OLED display. To get you up and running in no time we created a kit that contains all the necessary parts. By buying this and other kits from us you are funding the maintenance and development of this library. Make sure you use a version of the Arduino IDE which is supported by the ESP8266 platform. If you are using the PlatformIO environment for building, choose one of the available IDE integration or the Atom-based IDE, install libraries 561, 562, and 563 with "platformio lib install", adapt the WeatherStationDemo.ino file to your needs. The simple class uses the header date and time to set the clock. NTP-based time class written by Fabrice Weinberg. We fixed many bugs and improved performance and changed the API a little bit. Either compare your code to the updated WeatherStationDemo or read through the upgrade guide.
