    Python JSONPath Next-Generation

    Python JSONPath Next-Generation

JSONPath implementation for Python that aims to be standard compliant

A final implementation of JSONPath for Python that aims to be standard compliant, including arithmetic and binary comparison operators, as defined in the original JSONPath proposal. This package merges both jsonpath-rw and jsonpath-rw-ext and provides several AST API enhancements, such as the ability to update or remove nodes in the tree. This library provides a robust and significantly extended implementation of JSONPath for Python. It is tested with CPython 3.7 and higher. This library differs from other JSONPath implementations in that it is a full language implementation, meaning the JSONPath expressions are first-class objects, easy to analyze, transform, parse, print, and extend.

    Python Variable Variables Manager

a python manager class for named variables (variable name is variable)

Addressing the question for variable variables in python (i.e. variables with variable names), which has been posed on stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1373164/how-do-i-do-variable-variables-in-python The consensus is to use a dictionary for this. This is a good idead, however, there are many aspects arising from this: * you'll yourself be responsible for this dictionary, including garbage collection (of in-dict variables) etc. * there's no locality for variable variables, all are global within the dictionary, unless you locally define different dictionaries for this purpose * you are more flexible, e.g. you can decide to overwrite existing variables or, alternatively, to raise an exception on overwriting (e.g. for const variables) * if you want to rename a variable name, you'll have to do it manually * ... QAL

    QAL

    Query Abstraction Layer

Project has moved to: https://github.com/OptimalBPM/qal QAL is a collection of libraries for mining, transforming and writing data from and to a number of places. Sources and destinations include different SQL and NoSQL backends, file formats like .csv, XML and excel. Even untidy HTML web pages. It has a database abstraction layer that supports connectivity to Postgres, MySQL, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL server. JSON and MongoDB is coming. It uses XML/JSON formats(self-generated SQL schemas) for representing queries, transformation and merging, making it scriptable. This means that QAL can be backend agnostic about a subset of SQL features and data types. Of course custom SQL:s are also supported. It is currently distributed as a Python 3 Library (pip3 install python3-qal) and Debian .deb package. It is related the Optimal BPM project, see its Optimal Sync application for usage examples.
