Does Twitter Matter? It Does Now!

In my universe, the universal question to all Twitter users ever since it became mainstream has not been “What are you doing?”, it’s “Why do I care?” And, well, if you’re not following anybody interesting (and nobody interesting is following you), you probably don’t.

Rest easy - the time for all that has come to an end. During the Open Source Think Tank, Raven Zachary, Mark Hinkle, Reuven Cohen, Aaron Fulkerson and I got to talking about this, and a solution was born.

Enter The Pulse of Open Source, a “stream of collective consciousness” for the open source people you’d most likely want to follow. If you use Twitter, you can take a look at the list of the people who are being aggregated so you can follow them directly. If you don’t use Twitter, do not panic - you can still add the Pulse to your RSS feed reader. However you choose to consume it, there can surely be no better way to stay up to speed with all things open source. Especially all the little things.

Cya!
Ross
