Does the Media player automatically upsample audio? Meaning up to 44 khz, if file is lower. I'm noticing unpleasant high pitch, and don't see anything in Options.

Keystroke Autofill or Recall Utility

Anyone know of an XP utility which remember the words typed then will replay them back when the first few characters are typed again. I am always typing the same words in different browsers or tabs within browsers. Of course copy/paste will work but automatically letting you pick previously entered words would save time.

Not really looking for the typical keystroke logger but one that can display a list of last used entries.

For example in Opera, you can pre-save many words like street name, city, country etc. When you type the first letter of one of those items you can select the entire phrase. It makes registering personal information on forms very easy.

Thanks in advance.

Never mind....
After closer examination, I figured out the input was in correct. I swapped the caption with the XY coordinates, so that the line looks like this:

img.draw_text(100,100, "Hello World", purple);

Now it compiles and runs as it should. Funny how this code came straight out of the PDF file that explains all the pieces and parts of the CImg Library.

I'm learning how to use the CImg Library to do a little image manipulation. I found this simple "Hello World program in the documentation. Just out of curiosity, I decided to compile and run the program. Here is the code:

#include "CImg.h"
using namespace cimg_library;

int main()
{
CImg<unsigned char> img(640,400,1,3); // Define a 640x400 color image with 8 bits per color component.
img.fill(0); // Set pixel values to 0 (color : black)
unsigned char purple[] = { 255,0,255 }; // Define a purple color
img.draw_text("Hello World",100,100, purple);	// Draw a purple "Hello world" at coordinates (100,100).
img.display("My first CImg code"); // Display the image in a display window.
return 0;
}

While the code looks pretty straight forward, and easy to understand, I still get the is compile error:

cannot convert parameter 1 from 'const char [12]' to 'const

the error message refers to the variable 'purple' in this line of code:

img.draw_text("Hello World",100,100, purple);

Can anyone tell me what would be causing this error, and how to fix it?

I am a quickfix developer who wrote some quickfix applications. We have a server written in C# communicating with a client written in C++. Once in a while the communication is broken. Our C# server stops responding to our client and does not send heartbeat or even respond to a TestRequest that the client sends. As result our client disconnects from the session and repeatedly sends a logon message to the server. The server keeps disconnecting the client believing that the original session is still in progress and the client get a socket reset. This goes on until we restart both.
Has anyone seen anything like that before? Could you please point me in the right direction?

ok so i have recently gotten many viruses and figured it would be easier to just erase my computers memory so i came accross DBAN. the only question i have about it is will it erase windows vista and the programs that run it or will it just erase my personal files like photos, music ect.

Si quelqu'un peut me la décrire ou corriger les erreurs qui y trouve

Hello!

I and fellow employees at a governmental agency have been working on CARBLogger. In short, it is a digital data logger written in...SHELL SCRIPTS :)
This was done so that we could develop it fairly easily in house. As the product comes closer to what we require, we will be seeking commercial support for the project and (more specifically) for us.

Can someone point me to a list of providers I can contact who may be able to provide a support contract? We are looking for support for us, the project, and possible changing the code over to something more robust once it does exactly what we want.

Hi i have some code that use open cv. I include cv this way:
namespace CV
{
#include <cv.h>
#include <highgui.h>
}

this worked with 1.0 but with 2.0 it gives me errors in some vc libraries (complex) like <variable> is not from global namespace.

I dont understand namespaces very well, whats wrong with the code?
