Have you heard the big news, everyone? It’s so big you just won’t believe it’s actually happening.
That’s right! The 2008 SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards nomination process has begun. And it’s bigger this year than it was in the past, because we’re allowing projects outside of SourceForge.net to be nominated. Open source is just too big to keep it all to ourselves. Big, big, big.
I’m sure you’re saying “but Ross, how can I participate?” Well, you can click on the giant orange nomination button above, for starters! You have an opinion, put it to some good use. Then tell all your friends to do the same - after all, this is a popularity contest.
The stakes are incomprehensibly enormous: winning projects get to be better than everyone else for an entire year. But don’t delay, you’ve only got a few scant weeks to nominate before we pick our finalists.
For a list of categories, program information, and to see our generous sponsors, you can check out the 2008 CCA site.
You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
