When your hit points are returning to normal after use of the rage eruption technique, you also lose one point of magical energy and maximum magical energy every round, until your Pw is down to 0(1).
This is caused by the lack of a break statement on line 1284 of tech.c. I assume this is unintentional, but just in case I'll leave it for Warren to fix.

Rage eruption is supposed to be a temporary boost to
the HP. As there are numerous checks to ensure that HP is below the maximum HP, the only way to implement this is to boost the maximum HP as well, then bleed both the maxHP and the current HP simultaneously.
