Featured projects, October 15, 2012

In this week’s featured projects, we have a chicken (a VNC client) and a squirrel (a SQL client), and many other fine projects. I’m a little confused here! I believe Kompozer project is being dead since 2010, so, how could it be a featured project?

Yes, unfortunately Komposer hasn’t done a release in some time, but it’s still a very popular download. Mostly I was trying to drum up a little interest in it, in the hopes that someone might submit a patch or two. We feature projects for a wide variety of reasons.

@rbowen2000 Oh! I see, I also would like to see this project alive again. Is a good and one of the best editors for web design out in the jungle. Let’s see what happens!

@rodel I contacted the project admins, and it appears that they do in fact have plans to get things moving again, which is pretty exciting.

@rbowen2000  Great news! Funny at the same time, last night I clone devel and trunk versions to see if I can learn something new and contribute to the project at the same time. But to be honest i have no clue on how to start. I’m thinking in contact them to see if they can point me in the right direction.
