Vision:

Create a network of Creativity Cafes around the world that are live and cyberspace facilitated networking salons; featuring educational entertainment and electronic cybertheater. A fun place where people gather for play and work; where creative people, using the marriage of art and technology, learn from each other, have a forum for showcasing their work, and collaborate in the production of positive, life affirming and healing media and experiences.

Mission:

Establish Creativity Cafe(s) as a New School for the New Millennium.

To inspire, educate and empower the public – both in cyberspace and in communities around the world, by providing affordable access to technology (human and metal based), and instruction in fun and friendly ways. To create media and experiences that inspire and educate us how to be better human beings, and provide a basis for erasing country lines, border lines, and economic and cultural separation through facilitated networking, interactive edutainments and broadcasts.

 

 

Creativity Cafe becomes a hang out for healing local and global audiences/communities/governments by tapping into a community’s creative problem solvers. Founded by Artists Using Technology for Humanity, we have birthed a nonprofit to help establish this for-profit venture. The aim of the Venue is to serve community members by helping them transition from old world thinking/being, and to take advantage of the latest social trends and technological innovations/opportunities for self improvement, interpersonal communication and abundant thinking/living.

Creativity Cafe is a place where Artists using Technology for Humanity can hang out and collaborate using state-of-the-art tools to design, present and purvey edutainments that help us navigate these rapidly changing times, shed our old beliefs, and help us embrace the dawning of an enlightened humankind – finally freed from the ravages of antiquated thought, lust, greed and power. Top class marketing mavens take the products of creative projects and do what they do best, leaving the creators to do just that! The idea is to liberate creative spirit in everyone.

The time has come to manifest the idea of a “safe” club; where all its denizens practice PRONOIA. Automated systems help Creativity Cafe give you what you need to attract success and love. A fun and friendly place where, “Strangers, are just friends who haven’t yet met!”. Imagine a room full of mentors helping you create, upload and globally share your multimedia and digital (and analogue) storytelling. Big screen presentations are catalyst for interaction and making new friends. Artists interactively project on big screens in our Living Gallery”Theater of the Future” or in intimate settings via mobile device mini-projection.

Audience members are welcomed to contribute/augment/manipulate and create educational offerings and remap economic rewards for sharing their talent via various club, personal and mobile device interactions. You have finally found a place to forge creative collaborations that will generate personal revenue and community support, thanks to not having to do your own marketing and promotion as top marketers will do that for you. You need only be your creative self and have fun to make money and make a difference.

Life is moving/changing fast. Many people share in the vision, calling for a new kind of sanctuary from the insanity of our times. A hang out for cultural creatives, where families can ejnoy interactive cyberTheater. A physical portal into cyberspace offering positive experiences and services to individuals and global community members, to assist them in innovative and creative ways!

Since 1980, our prototype programs in schools and installations at trade shows have delighted live and cyber audiences . Our projects edutain, uplift, enlighten and heal hearts, minds and the bottom line (connection with people we love and support from what we love to do/be). 

Our desire is to facilitate the creation and deployment of venues featuring positive media and edutainment experiences where the whole family can learn, in fun and friendly ways, and get work done. Where artists using analog and digital storytelling tools, can collectively and cooperatively, produce and distribute positive media and educational entertainment programs, videos, trainings and interactive theatre experiences. 

We are tracking people and technology in alignment with our mission, and ask your participation in unifying similar projects and/or collaborting on Creativity Cafe’s DigitalVision. Can you help coalesce a global community of like minds, to establish a facility to answer everyone’s desire and need for love, money and healing? Earth changes demand a network of neighborhood  Resource Centers for helping people get in tune with the times – especially those who are techno-phobic. Affiliate venues/galleries become the “meeting ground” of the future we collectively manifest in physical reality. Places to collect and amplify creative force while rapidly supporting each other and our mother… “Spaceship Earth,” through .

Earth’s peoples need creative solutions to the issues confronting us in these rapidly transforming times. These solutions will come from creative people and thinkers. We invite your participation in Creativity Cafe and the formation of our proposed positive media venue and community networking center.

We envision partnerships of the many who come together (in any given city) to “install” Creativity Cafe edutainment environments- a new kind of club or in affiliate community venue. A sister article – IMHO called  YouTube Vs. Boob Tube* published by Wired Magazine, speak about the revolution signified by public made media and the idea that advertising dollars once spent with broadcasters, will no head to cyberspace. These two resources taken together, spell reasons for the success of venues we mentioned.

 

Creative consumers are developing their own technologies, raising standards and opening new education and communication channels. This is a development that ought to embraced by government, not ignored or impeded!!

 24 hour hook up of Distance Educators
In 1998 SIGGRAPH played host to a Creativity Cafe edutainment installation in support of KidCastfor Peace.Three years before, Peter Rosen was invited to present an NewSchoolsSigGraph Educators Pana describing how community venues can become – in fun and friendly ways – beacons for guiding the masses in dynamically changing times (since traditional educational institutions move too slowly). These proposed community edutainment and networking venues will do their work, thanks to the light of creative people, who can in any given community, present edutainments interactively in specially designed “EarthStations” like one area within a Creativity Cafe. We are beginning to see electronic cinema and multimedia venues popping up everywhere. Creativity Cafe is a more advanced forum, format and social mechanism specifically designed to accelerate evolutionary shifts, healing, produce and purvey positive media and edutainments – all the while “encouraging”  PRONOIA amongst patrons and (live and cyber) audiences.
