Specifiying PDF page boundary boxes in PostScript files

My standard procedure for creating a print-ready PDF is usually the following: Whatever program I created the document with, I have it export a PDF. I open this PDF with Adobe Reader, using it to print the PDF to a PostScript file. Then I use Moonshiner to convert the PS back to a PDF.

There are severeal reasons for going through this seemingly needless intermediary step; I will be talking about this in a later post. What I want to mention now is one tiny problem that comes with this.

In the beginning

With the advent of WordPress on Sourceforge and the release of Moonshiner 1.0, I’m also starting this blog to share comments on Moonshiner itself as well as general topics like PDF, Linux, Open Source, and possibly many others that are somewhat related. What is related? I be the judge.
