Welcome to Wedana

Wedana is a set of crossplatform browser-based tools to deal with data produced by the gEDA applications.

The main approach of this project - make gEDA availiable for devices where native code couldn't be executed. It was started b\c my Android tablet doesn't allow draw any schematics or read existing.

Project applications created with thought that they must work on any device with browser which support HTML5 standards (sorry IE<9 now is not supportted, but who knows...).

The second approach, make a set of collaborative tools for electronic design which can be used as part Wiki, distance learning or similar.

State and roadmap

We reached milestone:schema_viewer_optimization!

On this milestone view port concept was introduced.

Also we have Trac discernment released, so gEDA schems could be rendered inside Trac projects.

Our next goals are the following:

• create testing procedure to improve code quality.
• implementing editing features.
• PCB file format parcer and renderer.

We need a testers, somebody who would make us sure that code meets requirements.
