Taborca is a PDF utility which does a few things that are unique and/or more efficient compared to other open-source PDF tools. It does not (yet) aspire to be the best PDF tool for every purpose. It is based on Poppler and therefore the functionality is similar to xpdf, kpdf and the like, with some "typical viewer" features omitted and some features added.

Feature Ideas
- "Stamp" with an image (e.g. a signature)
- Typewriter tool for filling out forms
- Replace one page with a different PDF or image file, setting scaling appropriately
- Mount the contents of the PDF as a FUSE filesystem and provide menu items to edit images with GIMP; writing to the filesystem saves the modified image to the PDF
- Smart cropping (make every page the same size, try to cut off page edge shadows)
- When viewing adjacent pages together, collapse margins between
