How to start
It's simple to be part of the project, you just need:

We are looking for
OpenGL Developer
- You should be familiar with OpenGL 1.4 and above
- Improve our 3D engine for much more performance
- Add more effects and add support for normal maps too
- Improve car reflections and smoke
- Make more OpenGL graphic card option available at the options menu
- Jean-Philippe, Speed Dream project leader, will help you to start
Network and Online Race Mode
- Started once but must be finished, or even reworked
- Based on eNet library (+ SDL)
- Besides the Network and Online Race Mode, a simple chat feature would be great too
- Kristof has some recommendations ideas on this
Car Texture Artists
- We have dozens of lovely 3D car models in our SVN (and community) that need to be textured by artists
- Use GIMP, Photoshop and Inkscape to paint your textures
- Eckhard, projects main artist, will help you to start

3D Artists for Tracks
- Our tracks need more details and must be more rounded on curbs
- Some of our tracks must be fully reworked
- We use Blender or AC3D to model and texture the tracks

Testers
- Detailed reports on first installation, first run issues including information about version, platform and hardware
- Detailed reports about expected and given behavior of cars and races
- Mispelling and bad wording at the menu and help text
- Suggestions to improve the usability of the menu in comparison with other racing games
- Detailed suggestions to improve Speed Dreams at all
