Data format of RSS feeds
SourceForge.net-provided RSS feeds have been designed to be compliant with RSS 2.0 specification. These feeds have been validated using the excellent RSS Validator provided by Mark Pilgrim and Sam Ruby, and the RSS Validator from UserLand.
SourceForge.net, as any functional web site, changes its service offering and feature set as new implementations occur. The set of RSS feeds offered by SourceForge.net may be amended at any time (new feeds added, or existing feeds removed (if relevant features are removed from the site)) and the data within those feeds may also change. These RSS feeds are designed to be useful for humans; not to be machine readable. While you are welcome to use the RSS feeds to extract project data for YOUR OWN SourceForge.net-hosted projects, please take appropriate steps to ensure your scripts will properly cope with data changes or changes in availability of the feeds.
