Contacting SourceForge.net

Contact the SourceForge.net support team if you need assistance with one of the services we offer.

If you are having issues with software that is not listed in the Comprehensive service directory, it is likely that you need to contact one of the software development project teams.



The SourceForge.net staff operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM Pacific time to 4:00 PM Pacific time. As we are based in the United States, we observe the following National holidays:

  • New Years Day (January 1)
  • Presidents Day (February)
  • Memorial Day (May)
  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Labor Day (September)
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • The day after Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas (December 25)
  • Our office is typically closed for about a week at the Christmas holiday


We offer our web based interface for support on site issues. If you need to contact the Manager of the support operation, please log a support request and request that the manager contact you. Please provide the specifics of your request and the best ways to contact you. We do not offer phone support.

If you would like to compliment our support services, please do so in either the Community Hub (https://sourceforge.net/community/), or again, via a support request.

Service Specific Restrictions

We offer support only for those services listed in the Comprehensive service directory. We do not support any of the software that is developed via the services we offer. Projects on our site provide their own support for their software. Please learn more about the software you use and contribute to the project teams so that they can continue to provide their software and any services they may be able to provide.
