= Activity watches = 

[wiki:"What is SourceForge.net?" SourceForge.net] provides the Activity Watch feature as a customized view of the activity on !SourceForge.net you care most about.  Through the Activity Watch feature, [wiki:"Register a user account" registered site users] may select users and projects to keep track of. Types of activity covered by this feature include Forum posts, Tracker posts, and project registrations.

To see watched project and user activity, from the "What's Happening" widget on your project's develop page, or from your user page, use the dropdown menu to select "Watched".

For email notifications of project activity, use the [wiki:Monitoring] feature instead.

= To watch a project =
 1. Login to the !SourceForge.net site and go to the `Project Summary > Develop` page for the desired project.
 1. Click on the "Watch" link just below the software search box in the upper right section of the page.

= To watch a user =

 1. Access the Developer Profile page for the desired user (click on the username's link anywhere on the site).
 1. Click on the "Watch" link just below the software search box in the upper right section of the page.

= To remove a watch =

Watches may be removed on the [https://sourceforge.net/account/watching Activity Watches] page.
