APT of 'acopost'

The project 'acopost' (a collection of part-of-speech taggers) on SourceForge seems to be abandoned: the homepage has not been updated since 2002 (and it states "The project urgently needs maintainers, admins, developers, active users etc. since I (Ingo Schröder) won't have the time to maintain the package in the future.") and the last non-spam massage in the mailing list archives is from 2005.
I tried to contact all the project members in 2007, when I had patched the programs to compile with gcc 3/4 and be ANSI compatible, but nobody ever replied. I ended up setting a small page at my own project (http://hermes.sf.net/acopost.html) and hosting the updated version there. I have now patched once more the original code (to compile and work with 64-bit systems) and I am in the process of writing a short manual for it (acopost is one of the best free taggers, but you have to figure out how to use it by reading the source code).
I am thus requesting an Abandoned Project Takeover of project 'acopost' for my username 'tresoldi'.
